Mind Media Awards
Keystone was first asked to organise the Mind Media Awards in 2005 and we have run them every year since. The awards aim to recognise and celebrate sensitive portrayals of mental health in the media, which successfully challenge misinformation and stereotypes. The awards are hosted by the mental health charity, Mind.
Keynote speakers have included Stephen Fry, Jeremy Paxman, Alastair Campbell, Trisha Goddard, Ruby Wax, and Shappi Khorsandi and the ceremonies are attended by celebrity supporters such as Frankie Sandford, Gok Wan, Adam Woodyatt, Damian Lewis, Gaynor Faye, Amanda Lamb and Denise Welch as well journalists, broadcasters, and producers, alongside those with direct experience, practitioners, and campaigners from the mental health arena.
Keystone organise every aspect of the awards, including promoting the events to programme makers to encourage entries, following up potential entries, and creating and managing the award website. We also manage the short-listing and judging of the awards and, of course, the ceremony itself.
