Amnesty Media Awards
Keystone were thrilled to be asked to run the Media Awards for Amnesty International UK (AIUK) in 2015. This was also the first year the awards had been held at Milton Court, within the Barbican complex. This stunning venue is home to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and, as you’d expect, has first rate video and audio facilities. Following the success of these awards, we were contracted to run their 25th Anniversary Awards in November 2016 at Kings Place, London. The awards have now moved to the Spring and we ran this year’s awards in March 2018 in the iconic cinema at BAFTA on Picadilly.
Keystone work with AIUK on all aspects of the awards including the initial call for entries and the design and creation of a website to take online entries. We were responsible for creating the showreel, drafting the script and production on the night. Hosts have included Jeremy Paxman and broadcaster and author, Anita Anand, presenter of Radio 4’s Any Answers and judges have included BBC Political Correspondent, Bridget Kendall, Woman’s Hour Editor, Karen Dalziel and Foreign Affairs Editor at The Telegraph, Hannah Strange. The ceremonies are attended by journalists, photographers, AIUK staff and members of the human rights community.
Keystone also worked with Amnesty on their Youth Awards.
