BBC Live ‘n’ Deadly
The Live and Deadly brand is going from strength to strength and this Autumn we were delighted to work with the BBC on the second series of Deadly Days Out. Steve Backshall was once again the main attraction, delivering five fabulous shows each day with audiences of over 1000 at each sitting. Although, we were thrilled to also have Naomi, his Live and Deadly partner, co-hosting bird of prey shows in the outdoor arena alongside James McKay. The Deadly Art team were there too, helping thousands of our young visitors make their very own deadly doodles.
We used beautiful stretch tents to provide our undercover areas for the live shows and a host of other activities and a real menagerie of weird and wonderful creatures. The events all took place in large open areas with plenty of space for the activities. With so much on offer; from climbing walls, to zip wires and deadly encounters and deadly scene investigations these really were action packed days out. Over 80,000 tickets were issued for the 10 shows with fantastic feedback from visitors and contributors alike.
