The Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons (SPVS) and the Veterinary Management Group (VMG formerly VPMA) held their annual Leadership and Management Congress for the first time at ICC Wales, in May 2022. This was the 9th Congress managed for them by Keystone and is the largest non-clinical veterinary conference in Europe.
Over 500 delegates attended 2 days of 5 concurrent lecture streams. The event also included interactive workshops, an exhibition hall with over 70 sponsors and exhibitors, wellbeing and yoga, plus lots of networking opportunities including Thursday night drinks and Friday night gala dinner and band.
Congress was opened by award winning firefighter, psychologist and writer Sabrina Cohen Hatton who was joined by over 40 speakers from within the veterinary profession and beyond.
Keystone managed the entire event including event marketing, delegate and exhibitor registration and management, programme development and speaker management, event app build and management, plus venue management including contract negotiations, exhibition planning and building and oversee the whole event on-site, including the gala dinner.
