The Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons (SPVS) and the Veterinary Management Group (VMG formerly VPMA) Congress was held virtually for the first time, in May 2021. This was the 8th managed for them by Keystone.
Over 600 delegates attended 2 days of 5 concurrent online lecture streams. The event also included interactive workshops, a virtual exhibition hall, a wellbeing hub and lots of opportunities to network through chat rooms, in-platform social media and video conferencing.
Congress was opened by Craig Bennett, The Wildlife Trusts CEO who was joined by speakers from the UK, Europe and the US from within the veterinary profession and beyond.
Keystone managed the entire event including event marketing, delegate and exhibitor registration and management; programme development, speaker management and lecture live-streaming; along with commissioning, building and managing the virtual platform through Eventsforce.
Keystone are looking forward to returning to a live attended event in May 2022, when in addition to the above, they will manage the exhibition planning and build, and oversee the whole event on-site, including the gala dinner.
